  • Mock Court Training e.g. Financial Planners, Debt Recovery

This course conducts a mock court scenario to provide participants an experience similar to an actual Supreme Court trial. It helps demonstrate proceedings that clients might bring against a licensee and a financial planner, in a real-life regulatory environment.

It will be interactive, with attendees engaged in the theatre of the presentation as either participants or observers.

We have provided this training to many clients, including Count Financial, Genesys Wealth Advisers, Westpac, ANZ, the FPA, and more.

Learning Outcomes

At the conclusion of the course, participants will be able to:

  • understand regulatory requirements, obligations and the planner's duty to the client;
  • understand the importance of having a reasonable basis when providing financial product and replacement product advice;
  • be familiar with a Supreme Court trial process.

What have people said about our training courses?

  • "The presentation and content of the topic was excellent. I particularly like the way it was delivered. It was informative and fun."  Steve Garrett, Director, (Avenue Capital Management Ltd)

Currently, this course is not a public seminar course. Rather, it aims to provide staff of an organisation with a relevant and practical course tailored to the organisation's specific circumstances.
